Wednesday Pack Activities (8/16/2023)

Adventure Pack

Our first stop in Boulder Creek at Eben G. Fine Park was brief, as there was a lot of litter scattered around the area and the dogs just wanted to try to eat it. We stopped again a short way down the creek, where the bank wasn't littered. Avo, Lumi and Dylan each lay down in the water to really cool off, while Bear just waded around. It was very hot today, and our saving grace was the fact that thick clouds kept the sun off of us for most of the walk.

Variety Pack

Lumi and Archie started playing at the house, as usual. When we arrived at the dog park, Alfie and Archie paired off and chased each other to the far end while Lumi sniffed around in the shade by me. We caught up to Alfie and Archie to find them romping with a couple friendly dogs in the otherwise empty park. Lumi joined in for a short chase and then everyone sniffed around a bit and headed for the kiddie pool and the shade. Lumi hogged the pool; Alfie and Archie didn't show much interest in getting in. A couple other pairs of friends came and went while we were at the park, and the dogs all had a fun time together.
