Bonus Pack

Gidget, Blu, Racer, and Arlo strolled to Wonderland Lake this morning before the heat ratcheted up. Arlo enthusiastically kicked up dirt after each stop he made to do his business. He and Blu were tuned into the rabbit activity along the way, while Racer and Gidget didn't seem to notice.

Adventure Pack

Bear, Ruffers, and Lou enjoyed dips in the water at Boulder Creek while Kona and Nelly kept to dry land. Nelly was pretty interested in the scents along the creek path today. Kona, walking beside her, was more tuned into the visual environment. There was one spot Nelly marked, that then drew the interest of the entire pack including Kona. An unruly Corgi that was in the charge of an unattended little girl rushed up to the pack just west of the kids' fishing pond. Ruffers, Bear, Lou, and Nelly all kept cool. Kona kept in close with her packmates, and snarled a couple times at the Corgi, who was circling, barking, and nipping at the heels of the pack until the little girl was eventually able to get ahold of the dog's leash again, and walked away with him. A passerby complimented the pack on their calm demeanors through the encounter.

Variety Pack

Buddy, Archie, Griff, and Alfie were all drawn in different directions by their noses as they strolled Boulder Creek Path this afternoon. As the walk went on, they gradually became more in sync and easier to direct. Everyone got into the creek a couple times along the way. Alfie was an amusing sight as he lifted his paws high while stepping around in the shallow water. Archie tried mounting Alfie a couple times during the walk, which in turn drew Buddy into tackling Archie. Alfie didn't react to Archie's advances, and Griff kept out of the fray.
