Wednesday Pack Activities (7/10/2024)
Adventure Pack
Bear and Lucy splashed around a bit in Boulder Creek while Nelly crept up to the water's edge to delicately take a drink. Nelly and Lucy perked up at the sight of the family of geese at the Kids' Fishing Pond. We stopped some distance away to give them their space as they crossed the path to get back to the pond, and Nelly and Lucy's eyes were glued on them the entire time. Meanwhile, Bear was casually taking in the rest of the scenery.
Variety Pack
Lumi enjoyed some good soaks in Boulder Creek during our walk this afternoon. After his first dip in the water, he immediately flopped down on his side to wiggle in the dirt. I promptly redirected him back into the creek to rinse off. Lucy and Griff both only waded out to about elbow depth. Alfie and Buddy kept to the shallows. Some squirrel activity caught the interests of both Lucy and Alfie. Buddy decided to bark once at a single one of the various bicyclists who rode by during the walk. Griff was a model walker throughout the outing, as he reliably is these days.
