Wednesday Pack Activities (12/11/2024)
Adventure Pack
Lucy was up and down the trails while Ruffers brought up the rear, as we hiked Enchanted Mesa today. They both came right over to me at the side of the trail when another dog came through who didn't want to say hello. A little later, Bear roamed the trails with Lucy. They would follow their own noses to different areas and then periodically converge on the same spot.
Variety Pack
Griff, Lumi, Buddy and Alfie strolled Boulder Creek Path this afternoon. Buddy was a bit overexcited about the other dogs we passed, so I pulled him over to have him stop and collect himself. Griff remained even-keeled beside him, as always. Alfie noticed some burrs that had gotten caught in Lumi's coat, and he immediately tried to help his pal by picking them out with his teeth. A moment later, he noticed a burr on his own side. He turned to that while I finished his work on Lumi, whose long fur really likes to hold onto debris. Then I helped Alfie out. Griff and Buddy seemed to have avoided the burr source that their packmates had run afoul of.
