Wednesday Pack Activities
Adventure Pack
Ruffers and Dylan roamed Shanahan Ridge while Milo and Avo hiked along on leash with me. Ruffers found the pile of horse poop that Avo got into Monday, and just started to shoulder down into it. I called her off and she miraculously listened and immediately backed off from it. A little later, Dylan started venturing off the trail in the general direction of where Avo found the third fecal deposit she had discovered Monday. When I called him back to the trail, he hesitated to respond, heading around a tree, but then rounded it and returned to the pack without getting into anything nasty.
Variety Pack
The dogs were pretty rambunctious this afternoon. Milo, Zoey, Rey, Archie, Imogene and Carl all wrestled around with one another before we headed out for our walk. On the walk, Zoey and Milo calmed down. Carl and Archie's attentions were all over the place during the walk. Rey and Imogene mostly kept on pace and in formation as we walked, but each had brief, playful outbursts with Archie along the way. We saw several other dogs walking the Boulder Creek Path, and the pack got a bit worked up when I didn't take them well off the path to make some space.
