Adventure Pack
Griff and Carl raced each other on the trail at Shanahan Ridge and happily greeted some other dogs off-leash. Sputnik and Racer moseyed along with me, stopping to sniff around and nibble at snow here and there. On the return leg of our hike, Carl and Griff got pretty far ahead. Carl ignored me when I called them back, and just kept sniffing around; Griff stopped in the middle of the trail and neither came back not kept going. Eventually, Griff ran back to me, Sputnik, and Racer. Once Carl saw Griff come, he followed suit. They spent the remainder of the hike on leash.
Variety Pack
Mamacita, Zoey, Imogene, Avo, and Rey got compliments about how sweet they all were. An elderly woman first commented on how nice they were, and we stopped so she could pet them. Imogene, Rey, and Avo were especially friendly, and all were polite in their approaches as they went up to get pets from the woman. Another woman then stopped to give the dogs some love as well. We passed by a dog who really had a meltdown about not being able to come see the pack, and everyone - even Avo - walked by without reacting to the dramatic display.
