Tuesday Pack Activities (7/2/2024)

Adventure Pack

Racer hurried down to the ditch to be first in the water, with Arlo and Imogene all following close behind. Alfie didn't stop in the water on our first pass. It was a pleasantly uneventful hike around the Red Rocks and Anemone Trails, capped with a stroll over to Eben G. Fine Park and a little way up Boulder Creek Path, like the pack did yesterday. On our way down the mountain, the dogs all enjoyed a dip at another point along the ditch. The water was about elbow height for Arlo, Racer, and Imogene; but it only came up to Alfie's ankles even at the deepest parts.

Variety Pack

Lumi and Dylan made the most of our stop at the water during our walk along Boulder Creek Path this afternoon, as they waded out as far as they could and then lay down to let the water flow over them. Meanwhile, Bear and Carl were in and out of the creek and then poked around on the bank while their packmates soaked. Lumi enjoyed a roll in the dirt as soon as he was out of the water, as he has shown a penchant for in the past. The goose overseeing its goslings beside the kids' fishing pond hissed at us as we passed by at the far side of the path and I did my best to avoid the many piles of goose poop in the area.
