Adventure Pack

Dylan, Sputnik, and Griff sniffed along the Baseline Trail en route to the stream at the Gregory Canyon Trail Head. At the stream, Griff only stepped in for a quick splash before crossing to the other side and sniffing around in the brush. Dylan and Sputnik both lingered in the water a bit longer, and Dylan of course lay down to get his belly soaked. When we reach the point where the trail touches the stream again, further up the mountain, Dylan had to work to get wet from the shallow water. On the way back down, he and Griff spent a good, long while sniffing at one particular tuft of grass in the middle of the trail.

Variety Pack

Avo and Rey couldn't wait to hop into Boulder Creek this afternoon. Dylan and Sputnik were also happy to get in, but approached the water with much more restraint. I had Avo and Rey sit and wait on the bank for a moment, so I could get a good footing and not get dragged into the water when they dove in. I'm glad I did, because they held nothing back when I released them. After a rest there, Avo was the last still in the water. She kept dipping her face in to chomp a mouthful of water; then, as she lifted her head back up, it would pour out in several arcs from all sides of her mouth, like a water fountain. She kept that up for a couple minutes before I called her out of the water, to pick up with walking again.
