Adventure Pack
Griff, Carl, Racer, and Sputnik again took their time sniffing along the Baseline Trail today; however, they zeroed in on more of the same spots, rather than all diverging. Carl got to spend a little time off leash with Griff, whom he followed around everywhere. Meanwhile, Racer and Sputnik stuck with me. The two of them were especially happy to say hello to a friend we've made named Bryan, who often stops to talk for a few minutes when we cross paths. Racer especially wasn't shy about seeking Bryan's attention, as she sat down in front of him, facing away, and then threw her head back to request that she be pet.
Variety Pack
Avo and Rey got pretty worked up over a rabbit we saw at the start of our walk around Wonderland Lake. They were both still on the alert when another dog walked by on the other side of the street, and - for the first time in a while - Avo lost her cool and barked. Rey didn't bark or lunge, but she was straining at the leash until we were well past the other dog. Thankfully, the two of them collected themselves and were much better behaved through the rest of the walk. Zoey and Mamacita didn't mind the rabbit much, and were calm throughout the hike. They just wanted to stop and sniff around every so often, at the usual spots.
