Tuesday Pack Activities (10/15/2024)
Adventure Pack
Griff, Imogene, Arlo, and Racer hiked the Chautauqua today. Several other hikers commented on how cute the pack was. Racer nibbled on a bit of grass early on, by a spot where Arlo spent a long time sniffing. Imogene sprinted ahead on the trail and then came back for treats when I called her. Griff followed his usual routine of maintaining a short lead ahead of the rest of us, and was very polite about moving over to the side of the trail to let others pass.
Variety Pack
Alfie whined about the squirrels he saw hopping around Martin Park when we pulled into the parking lot to begin our afternoon stroll. Lumi, Lou, Dylan, and Carl didn't react to the squirrel activity. Lou didn't try to hold us up at the beginning of the walk, the way she has often been doing at Martin Park lately. Instead, we kept a pretty steady pace most of the time. Lumi and Dylan veered off in different directions a couple times, drawn by their noses to the grass at either side of the path. Carl didn't mark spots as religiously as usual, only taking a few opportunities.
