Adventure Pack

With Blu and Gidget in tow, the pack kept to the park and the lower trails at the Chautauqua today. Rey roamed through the meadow and ran between points of interest while Griff maintained his scouting position ahead of the little ones and me. There were grey clouds in the sky and I felt the faintest hint of moisture at one point, but the rain held off.

Variety Pack

Boulder Creek Path was opened again, so we took the usual route to downtown. There were a lot of geese along the way today, at various points. Tozai pulled a bit as he watched the first pair we passed by, and one of the geese eyed him warily in return. The next couple groups of geese we encountered moved further away from the path as we approached. They still caught Tozai's attention, but he didn't pull. Carl, Dylan, Lumi, and Ruffers all passed by the waterfowl without any to-do. Carl and Ruffers were much more interested in sniffing along the edge of the brush beside the path. Lumi, Dylan, and Tozai poked around a bit as well, but the other two were usually the initiators of our investigatory stops. Lumi seemed interested in the creek at the very end of our walk, but I moved the pack along since we were just a couple minutes away from loading back into the packmobile.
