Thursday Pack Activities (2/6/2025)
Adventure Pack
Arlo, Griff, Racer, and Arlo all sniffed around the trails at Shanahan Ridge today. At one point, Griff and Rey caught sight of some rodent and then spent a while investigating around some fallen lumber at looking up at a nearby tree, to try to figure out where it disappeared to. Arlo enjoyed kicking up turf whenever he marked a spot along the way. Racer surprisingly didn't pay much attention to the piles of horse manure along the stretch of trail where we discovered them yesterday.
Variety Pack
Tozai and Alfie watched the prairie dogs quietly watching us from atop their dens as we walked Goose Creek Greenway this afternoon; Carl and Dylan paid them no mind. However, everyone was on the same page about some upturned soil in the grassy patch beside the path, as they all spent a good, long while sniffing and marking it before they were satisfied to move on. On the way back, Tozai found another stick to carry with him. His penchant for carrying things reminds me of our late pack member Rucksack, and I wonder whether the trend will continue.
