Thursday Pack Activities (10/3/2024)
Variety Pack
A testament to Dylan's affection for Arlo is that he didn't grumble when Arlo leaned down from inside the packmobile to sniff hello as Dylan was getting ready to hop in during pickups today. Bear Creek Path was very quiet throughout our walk. Unlike the last pack walk along Bear Creek Path, the dogs only stopped to sniff a few times around Martin Park before settling into a steady pace. Racer continued to veer off into the grass periodically, but not in the stubborn way that some of the other dogs tend to to. She just likes to take in as much as she can while she's on the move. Arlo was really into kicking up the grass after every time he marked something. He was also pretty careless with his marking, and tagged both Lumi and Carl. I immediately rinsed off each of them with a spray from the CamelBak spout. The cooler weather made the sunny stretches of the path much more tolerable than they have been through heat of this past summer, resulting in only light panting from the pack.
