Adventure Pack

Griff, Rey, Arlo and Racer enjoyed the snow while hiking Mesa Trail today. Rey did some running around through the fields. Griff joined her for a couple brief stints. Arlo was momentarily psyched about a pinecone he found on the way. He picked it up, tossed his head playfully, then promptly dropped it and moved on with a giddy leap. Racer chomped a bit of snow now and then while otherwise following her usual routine of sniffing along the edge of the trail.

Variety Pack

Tozai, Carl and Dylan strolled Bear Creek Greenway from Martin Park this afternoon. It was a quiet walk. Tozai preferred walking through the snow beside the path again, while Carl and Dylan mostly kept to the paved route. Tozai only bugged Dylan once early on. Dylan didn't react, and Tozai didn't paw at him or Carl anymore for the rest of the walk. Everyone was very attentive for treat time. Tozai was a bit over-eager to get his, so we practiced being gentle. At one point along the walk, we crossed a metal grate that spanned the whole path. I was reminded of how Dylan used to scurry over grates like that as if he expected a gator to jump out at him; but he just takes them in stride now. Carl and Tozai paid no special attention when crossing the grate, either.
