Thursday Pack Activities (1/23/2025)
Adventure Pack
Rey and Griff caught sight of a black squirrel heading up a nearby tree, and they both rushed over to stare at it from below; nobody barked. After they were satisfied that the squirrel was staying in the tree, they both bounded through the snow back toward the trail. Meanwhile, Racer and Arlo were checking out a big chunk of a tree trunk. Later on, Arlo grabbed a gnarly stick and made a couple playful leaps with it in his mouth, then promptly dropped it and moved on as if it didn't exist. I guess he was hoping for more of a reaction from his packmates, and was embarrassed when his enthusiasm went unmatched.
Variety Pack
Dylan immediately plopped down for a roll in the snow at Martin Park this afternoon. Tozai was very intrigued by his grumpy, elder packmate's show of goofiness. Meanwhile, Carl was hanging out off to the side, doing his own thing. Dylan was very insistent about stopping to sniff the various ploughed-up snow banks along the way. Carl and Tozai were both quick to join him in thorough investigations of the scents that were overturned with snow.
