Thursday Pack Activities (1/16/2025)
Adventure Pack
The trails were full of dogs again today. Arlo whined about the first few we passed. A couple of the other dogs we saw got into a spat a short way down the trail, while the pack kept to themselves. We were taking our time along Bluebell Road, as Rey and Racer both wanted to stop and sniff a lot. Their noses continued to be put to work as we started up Mesa Trail. Griff and Arlo weren't so distracted by the smells, but they did stop and mark their place every once in a while.
Variety Pack
Tozai, Ruffers, Carl, Dylan, and Alfie enjoyed a pleasant stroll on a warm afternoon, in advance of the cold front that is on its way. There was hardly any snow left for Alfie to munch on. He and Tozai hasd some fun wrestling around before the walk. The two of them perked up at the sight of the prairie dogs who were poking out of their dens and chirping at us along Goose Creek Greenway. Meanwhile, their packmates took the rodent commentary in stride. One of the times when the pack had stopped to sniff around, Tozai and Alfie narrowly missed each other when marking the same spot from opposite directions. Ruffers, Dylan, and Carl were less reckless.
