Adventure Pack
Ruffers, Dylan and Avo did their fair share of sniffing and marking the Baseline Trail at the outset of our hike today. I guess that's where all the canine community bulletins are posted. We headed up the Mesa Trail and encountered a few friendly dogs along the way, including a very big Bernese Mountain Dog who received a thorough inspection from the whole crew.
Variety Pack
Zoey and Lou hovered over Avo while Avo wiggled on her back in the grass by the basketball courts, during our usual stop along the Bear Creek Greenway. Meanwhile, Rey was nibbling on twigs and Carl was tearing up little tufts of grass and trying to eat the dirt/roots beneath them - a habit he seems to have picked up from his big sister, as I've often seen Zoey do the same. There were a lot of leaves around, but no wind; As much as Carl likes to chase down leaves, he has no interest when they are inanimate.
