Monday Pack Activities (9/23/2024)
Adventure Pack
The whole pack lingered near the trail head to take in all the scents that were to be found there. After the initial round of sniffing, Bear and Rey were pretty well satisfied and ready to get on the move. Ruffers continued to make stops as things caught her nose along the way, and Lou was eager to follow up and check the scenes out as well. On the return leg of our loop, Rey was scoping out the mountainside with alert ears and posture, while Bear was back on the sniff committee with Ruffers and Lou.
Variety Pack
Alfie, Lou, Carl, and Dylan headed to Martin Park to walk Bear Creek Greenway this afternoon. Lou has been very hesitant to cross the field at the park at the start of our walks, so we headed a different way from the parking lot, and she came along with much less resistance. Alfie was very excited about a rabbit we saw in the park, and a couple different squirrels we passed by. Carl, Lou, and Dylan weren't distracted by the wildlife; however, we passed a Husky at one point and Dylan decided he had a few things to say, letting out a "Roo! Woo! Woo!" as we went by. The tenor of the barks seemed more excited and friendly than the scolding tone he uses when requesting space from his packmates as he enters the packmobile.
