Monday Pack Activities (8/26/2024)
Adventure Pack
Ruffers and Lumi lingered long in Silver Lake Ditch on our initial ascent at The Peoples' Crossing even though the sky was cloudy and it wasn't all that hot today. Rey ran up the trail and back periodically, usually keeping a bit of a lead on the rest of us. Bear roamed through the brush and pounced at Rey when she ran close by. After going up to the red rocks, we headed down through Sunshine Canyon - a route the pack somehow hasn't gone on before. The trail was quiet and peaceful.
Variety Pack
Alfie, Dylan, Carl, and Lou headed around Wonderland Lake for their afternoon pack walk, with skies still cloudy. At a couple points along the way, Alfie, Dylan, and Carl were all suddenly drawn off the trail to sniff intently in the grass. Lou didn't get the memo, and just hung out for a minute while the boys investigated whatever had caught their attentions. She eventually poked around with them a bit, but not with the kind of focus the others had.
