Adventure Pack
Avo was dragging a bit for the first half of our walk along Boulder Creek Path. Meanwhile, Bear was pretty distracted by wanting to follow his nose off the side of the path and into the brush. Dylan walked along at my side nicely. We made a couple stops at the creek and the whole pack took advantage of the chances to get soaked and cool off. When we were walking through the park by the Dushanbe Teahouse, I saw Dylan eyeing the shade conspicuously, and we headed there to relax for a minute and take our pack photo.
Variety Pack
Carl was in a hurry to get into the creek at the start of our afternoon pack walk. Zoey was quick to follow him, as was Dylan. Lou and Alfie stayed on the steps by me for a minute. Lou then climbed down to join the others in the water. Alfie went down the steps as if he was going to follow her in, but then he just teetered awkwardly at the edge of the step. I sat on a nearby boulder and swung my legs out over the water to encourage him to go that way, but he just took a little drink and kept his paws dry. Alfie was reactive to a couple skateboarders who passed by us today. Thankfully, the rest of the pack was totally unperturbed so I was able to fully focus on reining Alfie in and getting him to settle back down. I couldn't let Zoey sniff all the spots she wanted to at Eben G. Fine Park because I didn't want the dogs peeing right beside people who were hanging out in the grass near some of her favorite places, so she instead had to settle for the area directly adjacent to the path.
