Adventure Pack

Ruffers and Dylan brought up the rear on a hot hike at the Chautauqua this morning, while Sputnik and Riley trooped along with me. Once we reached the crest of the trail, Dylan stayed caught up while Ruffers continued to take her time. When we came to a trail crossing, she lingered in the middle of the intersection among some other hikers who laughed about her deciding to hang out with them. Everyone enjoyed lying in the grass at the Chautauqua Park to cool off for a few minutes after we made our descent.

Variety Pack

Rey and Zoey had their usual bout of wrestling at the house before we headed out for the walk this afternoon, while Milo and Carl followed them around and woofed every so often to be a part of it. After having been on several outings together since hitting things off on the wrong paw a while back, Avo and Lou seemed pretty comfortable in each other's company today. The two of them kept stopping to lie down in the grass at various points during our walk along the Bear Creek Greenway. Rey also pulled over a number of times along the way; however, she was more interested in sniffing around than in taking a load off. At the beginning of our outing, Avo was very worked up about a pair of squirrels chasing each other in the park, and then Rey lunged at a crow who was poking around nearby. Carl walked between Zoey and Milo, occasionally trying to pull up ahead of everyone, while Zoey and Milo occasionally dragged behind a bit; but mostly the three of them walked together pretty nicely at my side.
