Monday Pack Activities (4/1/2024)
Adventure Pack
A hail storm hit the Chautauqua just as we did, so we waited it out in the car for about 20 minutes before venturing out onto the trail. Once we did, the trails were pretty muddy from the fresh precipitation. Bear and Rey had fun chasing each other through the brush and snow. Ruffers and Dylan, trusty old pack members that they are, stayed close by during their off-leash time.
Variety Pack
Alfie, Lou and Carl headed to Wonderland Lake. After this morning's hail, it turned out to be a very sunny and pleasant day; however, some areas were still quite muddy. We took the muddy, upper path at the west side of Wonderland Lake to give a wide berth to another troop of three dogs who were very excitable. Lou stopped in place every time we approached other dogs along the way, although none came over to say hello.
