Monday Pack Activities (3/3/2025)
Adventure Pack
Tozai and Ruffers brought up the rear when they were off leash together. A yellow Lab went by the pack carrying a big branch. Tozai took note and immediately grabbed up the nearest stick, and then turned to the rest of us to show off his find. Rey and Bear took turns each leading the other as they ran up ahead to check out the sights and smells along the trail. Bear took a dip in a small pond as we approached the final stretch of our hike. Rey briefly splashed through the edge of the water, then just watched from the shore while Bear waded around for a bit. Tozai and Ruffers kept to dry land on leash with me.
Variety Pack
Alfie, Lumi, Carl, Lou, and Dylan walked Goose Creek Greenway from Valmont Park this afternoon. Rainclouds loomed and there was a cool breeze, but the pack stayed dry. Carl was less obsessed with marking spots today. Everyone sniffed and marked about the same amount, which was only occasionally. There were no prairie dogs out today. We passed by a flock of geese in the waterway, but the dogs didn't take any particular notice of them, despite some honking.
