Monday Pack Activities (2/10/2025)
Adventure Pack
Rey and Ruffers checked out a wall of sticks that ran alongside a stretch of trail at Shanahan Ridge. Ruffers lingered behind a bit during her off-leash time, while was back and forth between running ahead and checking things out with Ruffers. Tozai and Bear spent all of their off-leash time together wrestling in a patch of snow. They were so wrapped up with each other that I eventually just had to put them back on leash to get them to stop tackling each other and start walking again.
Variety Pack
Racer, Milo, Dylan, Lou, Carl, Alfie, and Arlo walked Bear Creek Greenway with a hand from Jen this afternoon. Everyone swarmed various scents of interest along the way. Milo and Arlo both got a bit worked up about a few dogs we passed during the walk. The rest of the pack remained calm as we pulled off to the side of the path. Dylan was often the first to veer off toward an alluring odor. Alfie and Arlo liked kicking up dirt after marking the spots everyone was so interested in; everyone else was content to just sniff and pee. Of course, Carl did the most marking of everyone - sometimes marking the same spot more than once. Lou and Racer were often the last to linger after the others were done with their business.
