Monday Pack Activities (11/4/2024)
Adventure Pack
Rey and Bear had a blast chasing each other through the snowy fields at the Chautauqua today. Ruffers did some serious back-tracking to follow up on scents. Bear stuffed his face into a snowy patch to check out the smells in the bush underneath. Rey had a dollop of snow on the tip of her nose after sniffing around. It was an entertaining outing for our first snow of the season.
Variety Pack
Carl, Lou, Dylan, and Alfie walked Bear Creek Greenway this afternoon. The dogs spent a while sniffing around in the grassy field at Martin Park. Lou kept on the move with the pack once the sniffing was done; she didn't stop in place the way she often has especially at that location. Carl hopped up a low retaining wall beside the path so he could pee on a bush up there, and Alfie followed suit. Dylan was sniffing at the spot from his place on the path, and put one paw on the wall, but didn't attempt to scale it. Everyone's noses went to work around the mile-marker boulder by the basketball courts, sniffing the damp earth. There were quite a few other dogs walking the route today, but it was pretty quiet.
