Tuesday Pack Activities (11/12/2024)
Adventure Pack
Griff, Imogene, Racer, and Arlo hiked the Chautauqua, which was moderately traveled today even though some stretches were icy and treacherous. On the mountain, Imogene found a stick to chew on while Griff was sniffing tree trunks ahead of the pack and Racer and Arlo poked along at my sides. As we neared the end of the hike, we passed a dog who woofed at us and Arlo woofed back while making a dodgy move, trying to invite play.
Variety Pack
The pack headed to Valmont Park to walk Goose Creek Greenway this afternoon. Lumi skipped the grassy hill where he usually stretches out. Carl, Alfie, and Lucy stopped to sniff one particular pile of dead leaves. Nelly, Lucy, and Alfie were all on the lookout for prairie dogs, of which we only saw a few. Dylan was enjoying the cool weather and had no trouble keeping up a fairly swift and steady pace with his packmates. Lumi and Alfie were particularly interested in the snow, when we came to a stretch of the path that still had some alongside it. Once they pulled over, everybody joined them for a good sniff around.
