Adventure Pack
Bear, Rey and Ruffers headed up Mesa Trail on a frosty morning. The mesas were pretty empty, but we saw more people and dogs along Bluebell Road on the way out and back. The pattern for today was that Bear would usually be first to sniff out a place of interest, and Rey would be quick on his heels. Ruffers would then follow up and take a good, long time checking things out well after the other two had moved on. Rey ran around a little bit; Bear and Ruffers did not give chase.
Variety Pack
Alfie and Teo wrestled around a bit before the pack walk at Bear Creek Greenway. Lou started off by planting herself in the field at Martin Park until she thoroughly sniffed the spot she was at and marked it. Meanwhile, Alfie, Dylan, Carl and Teo sniffed and marked a nearby tree. It was slow going the rest of the walk, as Teo was getting extremely worked up about every passer-by. At first, the others wandered around and sniffed in the brush while I addressed Teo. Eventually, they all just stood calmly around whenever we stopped, and took direction when we needed to move further from the path to make some more space for Teo to settle down.
