Friday Pack Activities (8/11/2023)

Adventure Pack

Nelly kept far back from the ditch as her packmates took a dip - especially when Yoshi was jumping and splashing around like a gleeful maniac. Once Yoshi, Dylan and Lou were done and climber out of the water, Nelly gently approached. She delicately took a drink and kept leaning forward like she was seriously contemplating stepping in. We hung out a little while to give her the chance, but she never actually went for it. We continued up to the red rocks and the dogs had a good time on the trails.

Variety Pack

Jen joined to lend a hand as we had a very full pack this afternoon. Carl, Gidget and Blu were happy to walk with her while Zoey, Lumi, Dylan and Yoshi followed with me. Everybody took a dip in Boulder Creek at the start of the walk. Carl, Gidget and Blu were in and out pretty quickly, with Gidget only wetting her paws. Zoey, Lumi, Dylan and Yoshi all took their time wading around and getting well-soaked. Blu, Yoshi and Lumi enjoyed a vigorous three-way wrestle session at the house beforehand, but they were all quite orderly for the walk. Carl impressed Jen with how little he pulled today. Zoey got to stop at some of her favorite trees in Eben G. Fine Park, and the rest of the pack enjoyed sniffing along with her.
