Friday Pack Activities (7/26/2024)
Adventure Pack
Ruffers, Archie, Nelly, Lumi, Lou, and Carl strolled Boulder Creek Path under cloudy skies that were less smokey than they had been throughout this past week. We stopped at the water, where Lumi, Lou, and Archie all went right in. Meanwhile, Carl, Ruffers, and Nelly hung out around the water's edge. Nelly was the first to shake off, even though she had only gotten her toes wet. Seemingly inspired by Nelly, Lumi then followed suit and made a splash as he was still standing in chest-deep water. That triggered a round of shake-offs, as Lumi's splash caught all of his packmates. Lumi skipped his post-soak dirt-roll today. Archie seemed to notice that none of his packmates were getting worked up about the other dogs who passed us on the path today, and his reactions became less and less exaggerated with each encounter. Carl and Lou led the sniff patrol today, stopping and pulling over every so often to get a better smell of various points of interest. Ruffers and Nelly tended to hang back and wait while the others put their noses to work.
