Friday Pack Activities (6/21/2024)
Adventure Pack
The pack made very slow progress along Baseline Trail at the beginning of our hike today, as Nelly kept stopping in place and trying to turn back. Once we made it to the stream near the Gregory Canyon trail head, Lumi, Lou, and Yoshi all enjoyed getting wet while Nelly was happy to have a pause. After that, we moved more steadily up the mountain and then back down, although Nelly frequently veered off through the brush to snag bites of grass as we went.
Variety Pack
This afternoon, it was Lou who was reluctant to walk and kept stopping in place. As a result, we didn't make it very far down Bear Creek Greenway before turning back and sauntering around Martin Park. There were a lot of scents in the grass to keep Carl, Yoshi, Ruffers, and Lumi entertained as we inched along. At one point, Yoshi and Ruffers started barking at some disturbance in the brush by the small creek. Carl eventually joined in as well. I didn't see whatever caught their attentions.
