Friday Pack Activities

Adventure Pack

The Chautauqua was bustling this morning, as it is Family Weekend at CU Boulder and there are many parents in to visit their undergrads and explore the area. Dylan, Sputnik, Avo, and Roger Roger spent most of the time on leash since there was so much commotion, but Dylan and Sputnik enjoyed some time to roam when we were on the quieter Bluebell-Mesa Trail. Dylan and Avo had perked up and started barking into the distance as we had been making our way up the Chautauqua Trail, and I agreed when another hiker guessed that there must have been a deer or a bear in the area. Roger Roger enjoyed being out with his buddies again.

Variety Pack

Ruffers, Mrs. Miggins, Rucksack, Lou, Zoey, and Carl headed to Foothills Park this afternoon. It was nice to have Rucksack, who joined the pack in its early days, out again after a long hiatus. We took a leisurely pace, and Rucksack kept heading off into the brush every so often. Meanwhile, Carl and Mrs. Miggins got along well, even though Mrs. Miggins is pretty shy. Ruffers was very interested in Mrs. Miggins, and kept following her around and sniffing her, but Mrs. Miggins wasn't that keen on her attention. Lou was also pretty interested in saying hello to Mrs. Miggins, but she didn't fixate on her for the whole time like Ruffers did. Zoey just had a good time out on the trail.
