Adventure Pack
Dylan and Sputnik were looking for shade as we hiked the flat Baseline and Meadow Trails at the Chautauqua. We headed a little way up Gregory Canyon, but turned around when the tree canopy became sparse. We made our way back to Chautauqua Park, and the boys lay in the grass to cool off before wandering around the park for a bit.
Variety Pack
Lou, Zoey, Ruffers, and Carl all enjoyed cooling off in Boulder Creek this afternoon. Lou and Zoey kept shaking water off of themselves, and splashing me in the process. Lou would shake off first, standing next to Zoey, and then that would trigger Zoey to shake off once Lou was done. On the return leg of our walk, Carl kept trying to grab up leaves and twigs that we passed over on the path. Zoey was very interested in sniffing around a couple different tree trunks we encountered. Ruffers and Lou tagged along, happy to go and do whatever.
