Friday Pack Activities (4/4/2025)

Adventure Pack

Some light hail pebbles came down right before the pack started hiking at the Chautauqua today. Once it stopped, Tozai, Lou, Nelly, and Lumi hit the trail. Snow flurries came and went throughout our trip up Mesa Trail. We kept up a pretty swift pace, and didn't have any encounters with other canines. Our stops were few and far between as we kept moving to stave off the chill in the air.

Variety Pack

The sky was still gray but there was no precipitation as Dylan, Carl, Alfie, Lumi, and Ruffers walked Goose Creek Greenway from Valmont Park this afternoon. Of course, we stopped to hang out on Lumi's favorite hillside. After that, Lumi got into a playful mood and started bouncing around in front of Alfie. Lumi's antics caused Alfie to make a big dodge, which earned him annoyed grumbles from Ruffers and Carl when he interrupted their flow. Dylan was far enough aside to avoid the hubbub, but I suspect he was disappointed to have missed out on the excuse to grumble at the younger boys for being too rowdy.
