Friday Pack Activities (3/7/2025)

Adventure Pack

Yoshi, Lucy, and Tozai were all a bit more amped up today than usual. The colder weather often brings that out. Whenever we passed by other dogs on the trails, the three of them all pulled toward them. Lou remained steadfast at my side. One very excited and friendly Golden Retriever ran up to us and lay down in front of the pack with a wagging tail to invite sniffs. Yoshi, Lucy, and Tozai were all more than happy to oblige. I took the pack photo in front of the same rock-face character that we encountered yesterday. Surprisingly, Tozai and Yoshi made no attempts to snatch any of the debris that comprised its facial features, but they did grab up some twigs from the trail a little later on.

Variety Pack

Lumi was happy to find a dirty snow mound that remains on the other side of the grassy hill where he likes to stop along our Bear Creek Greenway walk. He rolled around in it while Carl sniffed beside him. Ruffers and Dylan kept to the grass. There was a rabbit in the field among the prairie dogs today, but none of the pack members took notice; however, Lumi made a move at one prairie dog who was announcing our presence from a nearby mound.
