Adventure Pack

Lou and Nelly wanted to stop a lot on the way out along the trail at Shanahan Ridge this morning. Yoshi and Tozai were happy to check out whatever their packmates were curious about. All four of them did a fair bit of marking. Tozai found a stick and started flaunting it. Yoshi was quick to snatch it from him, then return to entice Tozai to try to take it back. Nelly nibbled on one end of the stick when Yoshi wasn't paying attention. I then played some tug-of-war with him over the stick, and Lou got very interested and started poking at Yoshi's neck. Tozai got it back and carried it along for a little while as I ran interference with Yoshi. Eventually, Tozai dropped it, but it wasn't long before he picked up another stick. The replacement did not garner nearly as much attention from his packmates as his first find.

Variety Pack

Carl, Lumi, and Yoshi trekked through the snowy trails and plowed paths around Wonderland Lake this afternoon. Lumi stretched out in the snow once early on, and again on the return leg of our loop. The second time, Yoshi got very excited about his pal's antics and started jumping around him. Once Lumi got up and we started walking again, the excitement rubbed off on Carl, who kept looking over at Yoshi and then darting ahead with a playfully vibrant attitude.
