Adventure Pack

There were a lot of hikers on the Amphitheater Trail today, both canine and human. Roger Roger and Sputnik obliged when I directed them to the side of the trail to let others pass. We took a lot of short breaks in the shade throughout our hike. The heat kept us from pushing our pace. Rather than ascending all the way to the vantage point, we turned back a bit early and sauntered through Chautauqua Park.

Variety Pack

During one of out breaks in the shade, Poppy flopped down and wiggled all around in the grass, then popped up and jumped everywhere, then flopped back down, and repeated this process a few times. Zoey and Ruffers did not have the energy to engage with Poppy's playful antics. They just watched her and panted.
