Adventure Pack

The stream that we pass on our way up the Anemone Trail was running as little more than a trickle today, so instead we took a rest in the shade and everyone had some water from the CamelBak. Griff wasn't that interested and turned away after a few laps, but Racer, Sputnik, and Colby were all happy to have a drink. After we made our way back down and crossed over toward the Red Rocks Trails, everyone got a chance to take a dip in the stream on the Sanitas-facing side of the mountain, which was running about as high as usual.

Variety Pack

Packmate Coco rejoined her friends for our trip to the Valmont Dog Park this afternoon. She was very happy to see her old pal Rucksack, and all of her attention was on him when they first got together. At the park, Roger Roger was being a bit of a pain to his big brother Rucksack by chasing after him, barking, and chewing on his neck. So, Roger Roger went back on the leash for a bit until he settled down. Meanwhile, Isaac enjoyed playing fetch, as always. Rucksack had a tennis ball but was content to just carry it around with him. Eventually, Roger Roger went off leash again and had some fun chasing tennis balls as well. Coco didn't try to compete with the others, but she was happy to catch a ball when I threw it her way while the other dogs were distracted. Roger Roger, Coco, and Isaac all made use of both kiddie pools at the park.
